Join us for a fun afternoon of baking and decorating as our Junior Chefs create the viral Patriotic Dot Cake from start to finish!
Students will learn how to make a simple vanilla cake and homemade vanilla buttercream icing before decorating their cakes with the red, white, and blue dot design that has taken social media by storm. Along the way, they'll practice measuring, mixing, baking, and basic cake decorating skills in a hands-on kitchen environment.
Each child will leave with their own completed cake and the confidence that comes from creating something delicious from scratch.
👉By registering your child for this class, you acknowledge that you have read and understand the participant requirements outlined below.
Participant Guidelines
- This class is designed for children ages 9–12. A completed waiver must be on file prior to the start of class.
- For the safety and success of all participants, we ask that a parent or guardian remain present if your child is on the younger end of this age range, is not yet comfortable standing for extended periods of time, or may need additional support with focus during the class.
- We also warmly welcome children of all abilities. If your child has unique needs, such as autism, ADHD, or ADD, we kindly ask that a parent or guardian join us during the class. Our goal is to create a safe and enjoyable environment for every child, and having a parent present helps ensure we can give each participant the attention and support they need while working in a kitchen setting.
