Founders

At Kitchen C+C, our mission is rooted in community. As we saw a rise in local food entrepreneurs, we knew we needed to create a space that supports their ambitions. We developed an incubator kitchen where these talented individuals can bring their food ideas to life.

But our vision extends beyond a commercial kitchen. We wanted to build a hub where everyone could reconnect with the joy of cooking. That’s why we included a teaching island for hands-on classes and workshops. Our Kitchen is also designed as a versatile venue, perfect for hosting everything from weddings and baby showers to book clubs and corporate meetings.

Understanding the demands of busy families, we’re also launching a grab-and-go market with healthy meal options for those on the move.

Our hope is that Kitchen C+C becomes a welcoming space where every community member can feel inspired and fulfilled.

With years of experience running her own successful restaurant and bakery, Jamie brings a wealth of talent and culinary expertise to our kitchen. Her renowned catering skills and passion for food are sure to make a significant impact.

"From my high school days, I enjoyed creating homemade meals and sharing them with friends. Over time, this love for cooking led to requests for larger events, which unexpectedly grew into a successful catering business and eventually, Miss Jamie’s restaurant and bakery.

With over 30 years of experience in the restaurant and catering industry, Melissa brings an impressive background that spans Carmel-by-the-Sea, Pebble Beach, the Cayman Islands, and beyond.

A Culinary Arts graduate from the California Culinary Academy, Melissa is passionate about using local, organic ingredients to create innovative dishes that blend regional flavors with global influences. Her extensive experience includes restaurant management, catering, fine dining, menu design, and she holds certifications in nutrition and food safety.
