Join us for a fun-filled Junior Chefs class where we'll learn how to make classic fair-style funnel cakes from scratch! Junior chefs will mix their own batter, learn the basics of creating the signature swirl, then top their freshly made funnel cakes with powdered sugar and a variety of delicious toppings. It's a sweet way to build confidence in the kitchen while creating a favorite summertime treat.

Participant Guidelines

  • This class is designed for children ages 9–12. A completed waiver must be on file prior to the start of class.
  • For the safety and success of all participants, we ask that a parent or guardian remain present if your child is on the younger end of this age range, is not yet comfortable standing for extended periods of time, or may need additional support with focus during the class.
  • We also warmly welcome children of all abilities. If your child has unique needs, such as autism, ADHD, or ADD, we kindly ask that a parent or guardian join us during the class. Our goal is to create a safe and enjoyable environment for every child, and having a parent present helps ensure we can give each participant the attention and support they need while working in a kitchen setting.
