Step into The Parlor for an intimate autumn evening inspired by Rachel’s favorite fall novel, Daphne du Maurier’s Rebecca. With its atmosphere of mystery, gothic romance and moody elegance, the beloved novel sets the tone for a candlelit dinner designed for late October.
This is not a murder mystery dinner—there are no characters to play or clues to solve. Instead, we’re borrowing the feeling of Rebecca: an old estate, a lingering sense of mystery, candlelight, beautiful food and an evening that feels just a little removed from the everyday.
Guests will enjoy a multi-course dinner beginning with The Manderley, our sparkling blackberry and rosemary mocktail, followed by Roasted Carrot & Thyme Soup, Baby Greens & Goat Cheese Salad, and Herb-Roasted Chicken with Wild Mushroom Cream Sauce, golden Duchess potatoes and roasted Brussels sprouts with brown butter and fresh herbs. The evening concludes with Warm Pear Bread Pudding with vanilla custard.
