Hey friends,
I’m Rachel French, co-owner and general manager of The Kitchen Collective + Collaborative, and I’m so excited to finally share this space with you! This has been a dream in the making for years. Angela, Bailey, and I knew that Fort Scott needed a place where food entrepreneurs could cook, sell, and even host dinners—all under one roof. Since we couldn’t find one, we built it ourselves!
So, what exactly is The Kitchen C+C?
It’s Southeast Kansas’s first incubator kitchen, designed to help food businesses launch and grow without the massive overhead of a restaurant. But we’re so much more than just a kitchen. We’re also:
🍽️ A Grab-and-Go Market – Stocked with delicious, locally made meals, snacks, and baked goods from up-and-coming food entrepreneurs. Perfect for busy people who want real food without the hassle.
👩🍳 A Culinary Classroom – We host hands-on cooking classes led by local chefs (and some guest experts!) so you can sharpen your skills, try new recipes, and have some fun in the kitchen.
🍷 A Social Supper Club – Think intimate, chef-led pop-up dinners where you get to experience a one-of-a-kind meal, hear the story behind the food, and connect with fellow food lovers.
💡 A Business Launchpad – Our space gives food entrepreneurs everything they need to test, refine, and grow their business—without the massive risk of going it alone.
